CIVIL DIALOGUE AT ASU “FIRST WEDNESDAYS”

The Hugh Downs School of Human Communication at Arizona State University presents Civil Dialogue™ on the first Wednesday of each month, February through May, 2012. The events take place February 1, March 7, April 4, and May 2, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the Empty Space, located in the ASU Performing Arts & Media Building (APMA), 970 E. University Dr., NE corner of University and Rural. Admission is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.

 

ASU TO SPONSOR “ACCESSING CIVILITY” Feb 3-4

A 2 day event starts with the Accessing Civility Forum, co-sponsored by the National Communication Association, brings together civic leaders, communication scholars, and community members who work to promote civility as the essential first step in constructive public dialogue. The Forum will be held at the Memorial Union on the ASU campus in Tempe, Arizona.To register for Accessing Civility: Arizona Forum on Civil Communication, contact Jennifer Linde at jlinde@asu.edu. Seating is limited to 75 attendees. Part two of this 2 day event is below called "Veteran - Civilian Dialogue."

"Accessing Civility" above was first part of this 2 forum event. Concluding the 2 day event with a featured event, Veteran – Civilian Dialogue™, on Feb. 4 at 2:00 p.m. Both programs are free and open to the public, but seating is limited and separate reservations are required.
